Privacy policy

Controller and contact

GHM Transport, Grundstrasse 11, 6343 Rotkreuz, Switzerland, is responsible for personal data processed through this website.

Privacy enquiries and requests may be sent to contact@ghm-limousine.ch or +41 77 993 82 35.

Data and sources

For quote requests or contact, we may process your name, company, email, phone, pickup, destination, date, time, passenger and luggage numbers, vehicle preference, flight and return details, child-seat request, message and consent record.

Data comes from you, from a person or organisation arranging travel for you, and automatically from your browser or our infrastructure. Server data may include IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser, device and security logs. After analytics consent, Google Analytics processes online identifiers and website-use data.

Purposes and necessity

We use data to answer enquiries, prepare offers, organise and perform booked journeys, communicate about services, secure the website, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims. Optional analytics is used only with consent to understand aggregate website use and improve the site.

Required form fields are needed to assess a quote request. Optional information is not mandatory, but missing journey details may prevent us from preparing or performing the requested service. Contact and journey form values are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics.

Providers and recipients

Website and email hosting are provided by Hostico, operated by Awesome Projects SRL in Romania. Hostico acts as a processor for data stored or transmitted through the hosting service.

Where necessary for a journey, relevant information may be shared with assigned chauffeurs, transport partners or other service providers. Advisers and authorities may receive information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. If analytics consent is granted, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are provided by Google and its affiliates.

International transfers

Hostico states that hosted information is stored on servers in Romania, within the European Economic Area. Google may process data in the United States and other countries.

Where personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as recognised standard contractual clauses, where required by applicable law.

Retention

Quote enquiries that do not lead to a booking are retained for no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a shorter period is appropriate or longer retention is required for a legal claim.

Confirmed-booking, contractual and accounting records are retained for the business relationship and for up to 10 years where required by Swiss law. Technical and security logs are retained only as reasonably required for operation and abuse prevention. Google Analytics user and event retention is configured for 2 months; analytics cookies may remain for up to 2 years unless deleted or consent is withdrawn.

Security and your rights

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal data. Completely secure Internet or email transmission cannot be guaranteed.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and may object to certain processing. Consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future. Send requests to contact@ghm-limousine.ch; identity verification may be required. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We may update this policy when services, providers or legal obligations change. The version published on this page is current.
